BASE - 18" x 18" MARBLED THROW PILLOW
Salvaged from a fire during the sixth century this base is one of twenty-one column foundations that supported the Temple of Apollo in Delphi.
- Hand-marbled fabric in the Turkish Ebru tradition of marbling on 9oz cotton canvas/twill
- Backed with 12oz light gray pearl weave upholstery fabric. Hand-dyed ¼” piping
- 20” x 20” insert
- 5% down / 95% feather insert. Invisible zipper
- Made one at a time, start to finish in NY’s Hudson Valley
BASE - the lowest portion of a column, supporting the shaft and capital.
